Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to safely operate company vehicles and ensure the timely delivery of goods across local, provincial, and international routes. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, has mountain driving expertise, and provides exceptional customer service while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances.

Plan and adjust routes using GPS or other navigation systems to optimize travel time, reduce fuel consumption, and minimize carbon emissions.

Load and unload cargo, ensure goods are securely tarped, and follow all safety and security procedures.

Inspect the vehicle before, during, and after trips — including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage units — and perform basic maintenance and emergency roadside repairs as needed.

Prepare and maintain accurate records such as driver logbooks, bills of lading, trip and inspection reports, and fuel consumption logs.

Obtain and manage special permits and documentation for transporting cargo across international borders.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and provide updates on routes, deliveries, and potential delays.

Calculate repair costs, order parts, and oversee preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle readiness.

Address customer concerns promptly and maintain a professional, courteous attitude at all times.

Coach colleagues on best driving practices, safety, and updated work techniques.

Participate in team or convoy driving operations when required.

Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with safety regulations.
