As a Transportation Specialist, you would be the public face of Access Information Management.
- You will load/unload your company vehicle with materials, recycling bins and/or boxes containing confidential documents.
- Your day will, for the most part, be spent in the field, travelling from client site to client site, delivering and/or collecting client documents and materials all while utilizing wireless scanning devices, dazzling the clients with your sparkling personality and ensuring that they are completely satisfied and well taken care of.
- You will process daily incoming work orders and rush orders of all types.
- You are making sure that all of your drivers paper workGet’s filed correctly, legible and on time every day.
- Keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
- You will keep in touch with your direct manager to alert him of any problems.
- You will undertake other tasks and projects requested by your Supervisor.
- Create and enforce transport policies and laws.
- Perform inspections and compliance audits
- Conducting research and analysis into transportation safety and security issues.
- Work with the services and government.
- Work on reports, recommendations and regulatory papers
- Compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
More About You:
- Must possess a valid Class G driver license, with a clear driving record.
- The ability to lift boxes, recycling bins and materials weighing up to 60 pounds, and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly during the day.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
