Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and high-energy Social Media Associate to join our team and take our brand across different digital fronts. Also, being a member of the team, you will contribute to the development and execution of social media strategies, identifying, generating content for, and creating high-quality graphics and videos that embody the spirit of our brand. We’re looking for an innovative web assistant to join our hybrid marketing team and work closely with other departments, analyze their campaigns and help to boost our overall online presence!)

Role and Responsibilities:

Social Media Assistant:

A Social Media Assistant usually works beneath a Social Media Manager or Marketing Team and is responsible for:

Content Creation: Writing posts captions, designing graphics, and creating small videos for social media posts.

Scheduling & Posting: Scheduling and posting content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platform schedulers.

Community Building: Interacting with comments, DMing and building relationships with followers. Based on this insight, we can say, you build your content state through.

Trend Research: Monitoring trending hashtags, viral challenges, industry news, and keeping yourself up to date in order to make content that is as relevant to the people as possible.

Analytics & Reporting: Monitoring metrics such as likes, shares, comments, and website clicks to analyze performance.

Competitor Analysis: Tracking and studying the social media activities of competitors to enhance performance of content.

You would also learn how to collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams, which is essential in making sure that the content matches business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Must have a proven track record in videography and photography.
  • Proven experience with social media and content creation.
  • Working knowledge of video editing software — Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or equivalent
  • Knowledge of best practices across social media platforms.
  • Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
  • An imaginative mind who thinks outside the box.
  • Tech savvy and detail oriented.
  • Flexible and solutions-oriented thinker accustomed to finding multiple creative angles to a challenge.
