About​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the Role – Remote Data Entry Clerk

By holding this position, you can work from a remote location anywhere in Canada and still be able to provide the required support to our internal teams. In the role of a Data Entry Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, updating, and organization of data in our internal systems. Just as you will help in keeping the records accurate and up to date, client files running smoothly, and excellent service delivery being made available to our clients, it follows that your role will be indispensable in the company.

We are looking for a person who is very thorough with details, able to motivate himself, and has the spirit of independence when doing his work. You will be given the trust to handle sensitive information in the right way and to accomplish data-related jobs with accuracy and in a timely ​‍​‌‍​‍‌manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, review, and update client information accurately in our database systems.

  • Prepare and organize digital documents for filing and correspondence.

  • Gather and verify supporting documentation for income, assets, and other financial details.

  • Liaise with internal departments to clarify missing or incomplete information.

  • Ensure all documents follow company naming and filing standards.

  • Calculate income and surplus obligations using company tools.

  • Perform searches such as insolvency checks, PPSA registrations, and property valuations.

  • Create, review, and prepare documents for digital signing (DocuSign).

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company data at all times.

  • Assist in electronic filing of statutory and financial documents.

  • Support administrative tasks related to insolvency and legal processes.

  • Use Microsoft Office and internal software to manage and track workflow.

  • Provide other administrative support as needed to assist your team.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this remote data entry job in Canada, you should bring:

  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative work with strong accuracy.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize.

  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members virtually.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with learning new software quickly.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset.
