About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Specialist who enjoys working with data, building dashboards, and helping teams make better decisions.

In this role, you will work closely with Account Executives, Frontend Engineers, and AI teams to support sales demos, improve product performance, and fine-tune AI models for e-commerce clients. Your work will directly help close deals with major brands and improve how millions of people shop online.

This is a fully remote position, but you must be available to work 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pacific Time to support our U.S.-based sales team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build Analytical Tools & Dashboards

You will design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that help Account Executives create powerful product demos for potential customers. These tools should be easy to understand for both technical and non-technical users.

2. Support AI Model Tuning

You will work closely with sales and engineering teams to fine-tune AI models for each prospect’s unique needs. This ensures search and recommendation results are highly relevant and impressive during demos.

3. Help Close Enterprise Deals

You will collaborate with Frontend Engineers and Account Executives to support sales conversations and help secure partnerships with leading e-commerce brands.

4. Explore Data & Improve the Product

You will analyze large datasets to understand user behavior, identify patterns, and suggest improvements to our search and recommendation systems. Your insights will directly influence product decisions.

5. Communicate Insights Clearly

You will create reports and visualizations that clearly explain performance, trends, and opportunities. Your work will help teams across the company make data-driven decisions.

6. Be a Team Culture Champion

Beyond technical work, you’ll help build a positive team environment—whether that’s organizing Friday games, supporting teammates, or encouraging learning and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is curious, organized, and comfortable working with data at scale.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience with BI tools and data analysis

  • Ability to build dashboards for both technical and non-technical users

  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Strong SQL skills (any variant)

  • Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy)

  • Experience with data visualization libraries

  • Comfortable working with large datasets

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Experience in fast prototyping and analytical support, especially in e-commerce

  • Willingness to maintain clear reporting tools for business performance

  • Minimum 3 years of professional or relevant academic experience

  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher

  • Availability to work 7 AM – 3 PM Pacific Time

Nice to Have

  • Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Presto/Athena, or Hive

  • Background in e-commerce analytics

  • Experience working with AI or machine learning teams

Salary & Compensation

This position offers a base salary between $80,000 and $120,000 USD per year.
