This is a permanent, full-time position on site located in Fredericton, NB, with no telework option.

What You’ll Do

As a Naval Combat Information Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring radar and sonar systems to detect, track, and identify surface and air contacts

• Gathering and analyzing real-time tactical information during missions

• Communicating effectively with other ships and allied forces using secure military communication systems

• Creating and maintaining tactical displays and plots to support the command team’s decisions

• Participating in navigation, defense, and search and rescue operations

• Supporting anti-submarine warfare and maritime surveillance missions

• Assisting with shipboard drills, training exercises, and emergency procedures

You’ll work both independently and as part of a highly trained crew on Royal Canadian Navy vessels. Your work will directly contribute to national defense and international peacekeeping efforts.
