About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As the General Manager – Government Services, your main duties will include:

  • Leadership & Strategy:

    Ensure that all operations follow government laws, policies, and procedures. Monitor for risks and take corrective actions when needed.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify areas for improvement in service delivery. Lead initiatives that boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance citizen satisfaction.


Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in the role of General Manager – Government Services, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in public administration, business management, political science, or a related field.

  • At least 7–10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within government or public services.

  • Strong understanding of Canadian government structures and operations.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proven experience in managing large teams and public budgets.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience working with diverse communities and promoting inclusive service delivery.
