Key Responsibilities

As a cashier and customer service associate, you will:

• Operate electronic cash register and Interac machine

• Process cash, credit/debit card, and cheque payments

• Tabulate and verify total payments for goods or services

• Receive payments and issue receipts

• Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter/work area

• Greet and assist customers with orders

• Accept reservations or take-out orders

• Wrap or bag food items and merchandise

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting

• Monitor entrances/exits and check proof of payment when required

• Verify customer age when selling restricted products (lottery tickets, alcohol, tobacco)

Computer & Technology Knowledge

• Electronic cash register
