Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Civil Construction Foreman to lead and oversee our on-site civil construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Leadership: Start each day with safety briefings, enforce the use of PPE, and ensure everyone on site works in a safe and hazard-free environment.

  • Road Construction Oversight: Supervise road construction activities, making sure projects meet design plans, quality standards, and deadlines.

  • Site Development: Oversee site preparation including grading, drainage, and layout, ensuring smooth progression of the project.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and support a team of construction workers, assigning tasks effectively while promoting high workmanship standards.

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, operations managers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency.

  • Heavy Equipment Management: Safely operate and supervise the use of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.

  • Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications and promptly address any issues.

  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and safety inspections.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction, particularly in road construction, grading, and site development.

  • Valid G license is required.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Thorough understanding of construction safety protocols and site development procedures.

  • Experience with surveying equipment is an asset.
