Canada Summer Jobs 2025 – Job Description
The Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) 2025 program is a government-funded initiative that helps young Canadians gain valuable work experience. It supports employers in creating meaningful summer jobs for youth aged 15 to 30. The goal is to help students and recent graduates develop the skills and confidence they need for future employment.
Through this program, employers receive funding to hire youth during the summer months. The jobs must provide quality work experience, fair wages, and safe working conditions.
Our organization is excited to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs 2025 program. We are looking for motivated, responsible, and creative young people who want to make a difference, learn new skills, and gain hands-on experience in a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide necessary support in preparation and execution of summer programs and events.
- Inspire and excite our target audience about the latest outreach initiatives through the creation of captivating social media content.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of communication by assisting the conversation between participants, parents, and community partners.
- Record and process the feedback and data related to programs.
- Help the team in creating promotional materials such as flyers and newsletters.
- Give administrative help, for instance, with scheduling and record-keeping.
- Engage in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training opportunities.
- Comply with company rules and regulations and help build a friendly and pleasant atmosphere in the workplace.
- In addition, if required during the summer, you can perform any other duties that are necessary to complete the department’s work.

Skills and Qualifications
- At the beginning of work, the person should be aged between 15 and 30.
- Only a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a person with refugee status that is legally entitled to work in Canada can apply.
- Great verbal and written communication skills. These skills, along with listening skills, lead to a very good teamwork environment.
- One should be able to plan his/her activities and sometimes others’ and to make this plan a reality through his/her time management skills.
- Capability to use a computer and carry out social media tasks at a basic level is a must. (MS Office, Canva, Instagram, etc.)
- Good disposition and eagerness to learn new things and improve existing skills.
- The applicant is expected to have community development, youth programs, or nonprofit work areas of interest.
- Although event planning, customer service, and communications experience will increase your chances of getting the job, it is not mandatory.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content strategy
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz preferred)
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with WordPress, Canva, or email marketing tools is a plus
