Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and safe operation of Conair’s specialized fleet and related projects. Your duties will include:

Assisting with maintenance and repair of Conair’s aircraft fleet and production projects as assigned.

Performing scheduled maintenance and completing required documentation for base aircraft during the operational season.

Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, pilots, and crew members.

Following all Conair safety standards, policies, and procedures while carrying out maintenance tasks.

Completing assigned work orders and paperwork accurately and on time.

Supervising and guiding maintenance teams when assigned as a Lead Hand, ensuring all work meets company standards.

Collaborating effectively within a team environment, offering and receiving assistance in a professional and respectful manner.

Staying up to date with Conair Aerostudies, Maintenance Bulletins, and company notices.

Maintaining a strong understanding of CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations) relevant to aircraft maintenance.

Demonstrating knowledge of information technology processes used in aircraft maintenance documentation and workflow.
Qualifications & Skills

A solid understanding of government laws, aviation safety rules, and best maintenance practices.

Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, systems, and structural theory.

The ability to learn quickly, follow verbal and written instructions, and adapt to changing tasks.

Proficiency in using mechanical tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.

The physical capability to perform demanding maintenance, overhaul, and repair tasks.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail and clarity.
Training & Education Requirements
We’re seeking candidates with strong aviation maintenance skills and relevant training. The following qualifications and experience will be considered assets:

Q400 type training and hands-on experience (highly valued).
-
Twin Commander (TC 690A/B model) training and maintenance experience.
-
Honeywell TPE331-5 and -10 engine line or heavy maintenance experience.
-
Valid Transport Canada AME License – M1 or M2 (required).
-
Prior operational or line maintenance experience, particularly in an active flight environment.
