Job Overview
Island Culinary Service is preparing for a busy Spring and Summer season and is currently hiring dedicated Catering Staff to join our growing team. We have exciting opportunities available for full-time and part-time positions, including banquet servers, banquet captains, and front-of-house (FOH) management roles.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a professional catering team delivering exceptional event experiences. Our services include weddings, cocktail parties, corporate events (C.O.L’s), barbecues, and pre-packaged meal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth execution of events from setup to breakdown, maintaining high service standards
- Supervise and Lead banquet staff and coordinate effectively with kitchen teams
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience
- Collaborate with management and team members to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front-of-house (FOH) areas
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in team leadership or supervisory roles is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills
- Physically capable of performing some heavy lifting
- Valid driver’s license required (company vehicles provided for events)
