Position Overview
TCL is hiring a National Sales Assistant to support our growing Canadian sales organization and strengthen operational efficiency across key national retail accounts. This role is ideal for a highly organized and analytical professional who has experience in sales operations, customer service, and working with Canadian national retailers.
As a National Sales Assistant, you will work closely with high-performing sales teams and cross-functional departments including Marketing, Order Management, Accounting, and Customer Service. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate sales data, supporting retail execution, managing product transitions, and ensuring brand consistency across in-store and online channels.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
The National Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily sales operations and providing insights that help drive business performance across Canada.
Sales & Operations Support

Provide administrative and operational support to Sales, Marketing, Order Management, Accounting, and Customer Service teams

Coordinate sales activities between internal TCL departments and external retail partners

Assist sales teams with reporting, documentation, and retailer-specific requirements
Sales Data & Reporting

Maintain, track, and analyze weekly sales data across multiple channels
-
Prepare accurate reports and dashboards to support sales performance reviews

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
Product & Retail Management
-
Support product transitions, new product setups, and retailer compliance requirements
-
Monitor and update product information as needed to ensure accuracy

Review inventory levels and marketing activities, tracking performance and reporting results
Competitive & Market Analysis

Track and analyze competitor pricing, product assortment, and promotional activities

Monitor in-store and online market trends to support sales and marketing strategies
Vendor Portals & Order Management

Work with customer vendor portals such as Amazon Vendor Central
-
Set up new product models, manage orders, and run reports to support replenishment and sales efforts
Brand & Marketing Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams and retail partners to ensure accurate brand representation

Support online product listings and in-store merchandising execution

Ensure product pages, content, and visuals meet brand and retailer standards
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of business-related experience, preferably in retail, sales operations, or customer support

Strong interest in building a long-term career in retail sales and national account management

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data across multiple sales channels

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong data entry accuracy

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with Canadian national retailers is considered a strong asset
