Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in all flight operations from pre-flight planning to safe landing.

• Operate the EMB-145 regional jet according to Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

• Conduct pre-flight checks and briefings to ensure aircraft readiness and crew alignment.

• Communicate clearly and efficiently with ATC, ground crew, and passengers as needed.

• Monitor aircraft systems, weather conditions, and navigation to ensure a safe and smooth flight.

• Follow all safety guidelines and emergency protocols with precision and professionalism.

• Support ongoing safety training, simulator checks, and flight reviews as part of continuous development.

Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine and Group 1 Instrument Rating.

• Minimum total flight time: 1,000 hours preferred (low-time pilots may also apply).

• Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.

• ICAO Level 4 English proficiency or higher.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a background check.

• Previous experience on ERJ-145 or similar jet aircraft is an asset but not required.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.

Qualificat²ions – What You’ll Need to Apply

• Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)

• Multi-Engine Rating and Group 1 Instrument Rating

• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time (lower time may be considered for exceptional candidates)

• Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate issued by Transport Canada

• ICAO English Language Proficiency – Level 4 or higher

• Ability to legally live and work in Canada (citizen, PR, or valid work permit)

• Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

• Ability to pass background checks, including criminal record and Transport Canada security screening

• Strong situational awareness, decision-making, and CRM (Crew Resource Management) skills

• Previous experience on Embraer ERJ-145 or similar aircraft is an asset (not mandatory)
