Responsibilities and Duties
As an FSWEP student, your tasks will depend on the role you’re matched with, but may include:

Assisting with research, analysis, and data entry.

Supporting program delivery and administrative work.

Contributing to communications, outreach, and social media.

Participating in fieldwork, technical projects, or lab support.

Helping teams with day-to-day office operations.
Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

Student Status: You’re registered as a full-time student in a secondary or post-secondary accredited institution.

Students with disabilities considered full-time by their institution are also eligible.

Adult learners in secondary-level education or retraining programs under accredited institutions can apply.

Age Requirement: You meet the minimum age requirement in your province or territory of work.

Return to Studies: You’ll be returning to full-time studies in your next academic term.

Final-year students are eligible if previously employed under FSWEP, the Co-op/Internship Program, or the Research Affiliate Program.
