Digital Marketing Intern (Summer 2025)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Canada)
Salary: $17 – $25/hour
Duration: May – August 2025

Job Overview:

Are you passionate about SEO, content marketing, and social media? We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, and content creation while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct keyword research to optimize website content for SEO
Assist in writing and editing blog posts, landing pages, and social media content
Manage and schedule posts on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Analyze website traffic and performance using Google Analytics and SEO tools
Create engaging email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp
Research industry trends to improve digital marketing strategies
Collaborate with the design team to create graphics and promotional materials

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content strategy
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz preferred)
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with WordPress, Canva, or email marketing tools is a plus
