Data Entry Remote Job Canada

Including data entry of patient/test information into the laboratory information system, typing several items including patient reports, managing department files and records, recording and transcribing minutes of meetings, and scheduling appointments, the Administrative and Data Entry Clerk carries out administrative and secretarial tasks.

Looking for a Data Entry Specialist with great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to be part of our Canadian remotely located staff. You’ll be in charge of accurate input, updating, and maintenance of data in our systems as a result of this position. Ensuring the accuracy and dependability of our data will depend much on yours attention to detail and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With great accuracy, enter and maintain information across databases, spreadsheets, and other electronic media.
  • Examine and double-check information to guarantee accuracy and fullness.
  • Find and fix mistakes in data entries.
  • Keep sensitive data securely and keep confidentiality.
  • Produce, as needed, notes and synopses.
  • Work with colleagues to tackle data-related problems.
  • Keep to deadlines and guarantee prompt finishing of assigned tasks.

Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; extra qualifications in data management or a similar discipline are a bonus.
  • Demonstrated experience in data input or equivalent positions.
  • Great accuracy and fast typing speed.
  • Capability in online tools, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), and data entry software.
  • Organizational abilities and close attention to minor details
  • Capacity to work with little direction independently.
  • Stable internet access and a quiet working area.

Skill And Knowledge:

  • Adherence to the shared responsibility of creating permanent and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as defined by TRC (2015) and BC&’s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
  • Our successful candidate should have a strong asset for consideration knowledge of the social, economic, and political and historical realities of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples as well as experience in addressing Indigenous-specific anti-racism, anti-racism, and Indigenous Cultural Safety and foundational documents and legislative commitments (The Declaration Act, the Declaration Action Plan, TRC, IPS, Remembering Keegan, etc.).

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Wage: $26.63 / Hour
Location: 4500 Oak St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3N1
